This presentation will focus on Cliff Spiegelman’s collaborative work with USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) researchers for the past six years. The projects that have already impacted NASS estimation processes as well as others that are still benefiting from his support will be reviewed. The numerous ways that Cliff became an integral part of the research unit, from mentoring to critical reviews will be highlighted. Finally, some of the warm memories staff have of him will be shared.
