1. What proportion of the U.S. population will contract COVID-19? How would one produce an estimate? There seem to be significant challenges with missing data. What will be the evolution of this pandemic and the public response? When will there be effective therapeutics and/or a vaccine? What are the sensitivity and specificity of the tests for COVID-19? What will be the global impact of the pandemic? How will less developed and developed nations fare? What are the healthcare tradeoffs in confronting the COVID-19 pandemic? Should one use agent-based models or spatio-temporal compartmental models based upon coupled systems of differential equations or conditional autoregressive spatial process models? . What will be the effect upon higher education?
