Abstract:

In this presentation, I will discuss some of the successes and lessons learned in the first two years of exisitence of the Baltimore, Maryland RLadies chapter. Overall, we have established a core group of diverse members, who participate regularly and interact in a supportive way, providing novel opportunities for learning for both new and long-term R users. However, challenges of outreach and inclusion remain. I will provide background on the RLadies Global organization to place our particular chapter in context and provide plans for our future.
