Abstract:

In this talk, I will cover some major contributions to the theory of representative sampling after the 1960s. I will highlight contributions related to the foundations of sampling theory, analysis of survey data and variance estimation based on resampling methods, multiple frame surveys and imputation for handling item nonresponse.
