Abstract:
|
In 1996 there was a debate hosted at JSM about the wisdom of teaching Bayesian methods at the introductory level. Jim Albert and Don Berry argued in favor of the idea, while David Moore argued against it. We’ll take a look at how statistics practice and statistics education have changed in the almost quarter of a century since then.
