Abstract:
|
The tilted beta binomial distribution for overdispersed binomial data was introduced by Hahn (2012). This distribution was shown to provide superior fit to the beta binomial distribution for data where an excess of values accumulated at the extremes of the underlying probability of success. Here we introduce two Bayesian formulations of this model. Comparisons with likelihood-based estimation are made.
