Abstract:

In recent years, platform clinical trials have gained much attention in the pharmaceutical drug development world. Several companies and teams have made great progress toward the design and implementation of platform trials. There are many subtle and important aspects of a platform trial that must be considered and evaluated

Inspired by an internal platform trial under design, this talk will present the concept of adding new assets to the platform over time and how assents are compared utilizing a Bayesian Go/No Go framework. This talk begins with a timeline map and will discuss the idea of moving from concept to design via simulations.
