Abstract:
|
We compare the different sets of assumptions required to identify and to estimate the five types of parameters defined in the recent International Council for Harmonization (ICH) E9 (R1) draft addendum on defining estimands and sensitivity analyses in clinical trials. We illustrate using a completed trial dataset from a phase 3 trial of a treatment to prevent progression to Alzheimer’s disease.
