Abstract:

The Science of Test Research Consortium is a cooperative research group involving either Universities and funded by the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Since its inception nine years ago the Consortium has focused on important aspects of applied statistics, experimental design, functional analysis and reliability particular as these apply to the test and evaluation of defense systems. Collectively, the consortium has made important contributions not only to the academic literature but also the test and evaluation workforce enterprise. In this panel discussion, five key members of the consortium will discuss their research programs, key contributions from those programs, and the current challenges being undertaken in those research programs. The session will include question and answer time after each panelist presentation.
