Abstract:

We propose a concordance statistic in the setting of survival analysis with a censored predictor. Such a statistic can be useful for understanding the association between two censored variables intuitively. Asymptotic properties (consistency and asymptotic normality) are established. Simulation studies show that the proposed statistic performs well in the finite-sample setting, where a bootstrap-based variance estimator is used. Application in a cancer study is discussed.
