Title: Ggvoronoi: Voronoi Tessellations in R
Author(s): Thomas J Fisher* and Robert C Garrett and Karsten Maurer

Keywords: Voronoi; ggplot2; leaflet; plotly
Abstract:

Voronoi, or Dirichlet, tessellations partitions a plane into convex regions based on the distance to a set of points in the plane. Specifically, Voronoi diagrams can be utilized to visualize the region in which a nearest neighbor will fall and can be an asset in visualizing certain spatial datasets. Here we demonstrate the functionality of the ggvoronoi package highlighting its integrated use with ggplot2, leaflet and plotly.
