Abstract

Teaching statistics in the health sciences is challenging for a variety of reasons, two of which are that learners may consider the concepts less important than the topics that drew them to their program and may not see the connection between statistics and clinical work. This roundtable will bring together those who teach statistics and epidemiology to health science students. Bring your ideas to contribute to a robust discussion of how to engage health science students in statistical and epidemiological concepts, make the topics relevant, and determine the concepts they need to know.
