Type: Topic Contributed
Date/Time: Wednesday, July 31, 2019 : 8:30 AM to 10:20 AM
Sponsor: Section on Statistics in Genomics and Genetics
Abstract #305199
Title: Exploring Topologically Associating Domains (TADs) for Single-Cell Hi-C Data
Author(s): Qunhua Li and Di Wu*
Companies: Penn State University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Keywords: single cell; Hi-C; topologically association domain
Abstract:

Single-cell Hi-C data makes it possible to interrogate the 3D architecture of DNA in the nucleus of the cell. However, the data is extremely sparse making it challenging to reliably identify meaningful structures. In this talk, we studied the topologically associating domains (TADs) in single-cell Hi-C data and evaluated the heterogeneity across cells.
