Abstract:
|
We consider crossover experimental design where the response is functional data and is observed on subjects exposed repeatedly to all possible treatments. Such designs are appealing as they allow for a more precise comparison of treatment effect. We propose a novel functional crossover inference procedure. We investigate the performance of the method through simulations and by application to a meloxicam study of cats with Osteoarthritis, where activity profiles are measured at a minute level during a day for cats treated with meloxicam drug and placebo.
