Abstract:
|
We combine survey data (Household Finance and Consumption Survey and Household Budget Survey) with national accounts data in a micro simulation framework which allows us to “create” higher frequency survey data. Employment dynamics are explicitly model based on micro data, as well as households consumption/saving decisions and evolution of indebtedness. We use the model to evaluate the effect of macro prudential policies on households balance sheets.
