Abstract:
|
Estimating average treatment effect is an important task for causal inference and assessing the effectiveness of a treatment versus the other. In this talk, a new method based on outcome adaptive lasso and knock-off procedure is proposed to improve variable selection consistency and treatment effect estimation consistency. Numerical simulations show that the performance of the proposed method is competitive in both computational speed as well as the estimation accuracy.
