Abstract:
|
It is generally accepted that a substantial amount of the heritability of many complex traits is due to gene-gene and gene-environment interactions. Because of the large number of multiple comparisons when considering "all" possible interactions, the power to identify them is typically small, explaining the limited success of identifying such interactions. We will discuss various strategies to increase the power for such analyses.
