Abstract:

In this talk, I describe adaptations of multiple imputation for protecting privacy in public use data files. I review the general framework, existing applications, and open research questions. I also provide my thoughts on the future of this adaptation of multiple imputation, connecting to current research in privacy protection methodology that seeks to endow data releases with formal privacy guarantees.
