A gifted statistical educator possesses a unique skill set. In addition to a solid conceptual understanding of statistics, they must also possess strong communication skills to deliver the content in an understandable format. This is incredibly challenging, particularly as the paradigm shifts from lecture to more active learning experiences, and this skill set is rarely taught in statistical training programs. Thus, the development of course content is often the result of years of teaching experience. Engaging and innovative teaching resources, therefore, can be considered creative scholarly works and themselves worthy of publication. Presented will be one statistical educators experience publishing teaching resources including original classroom activities, curated datasets and student projects.
