Abstract:

The past 18 months have seen the launch of multiple international data ethics and data governance projects. The IEEE, as well as the UK national academy of science have launched separate reports on this issue. I will discuss some of the key findings of these reports and what they might mean to everyday data analysts, and also how national reports often differ from international efforts.
