Interactive graphics have not typically been in the statistician's wheelhouse, and present a teaching challenge on a number of levels. At this roundtable, I will lead a discussion based on issues that I confront daily in my data visualization classes: To what extent are interactive graphics useful for exploratory data analysis and/or statistical understanding? What tools are available, how do they compare, and what experiences have you had with them in the classroom? What principles and theory should be taught along with the tools? With your input, I look forward to an energetic and engaging discussion.
