Cut-points selection is a key topic in the field of diagnostic test. there exist several well-developed methods. Some of these methods have been extended to three stage and general settings. The purpose of this article is two-fold: 1) to propose several new cut-point selection methods; 2) to present a comprehensive review of all the cut-point selection methods under multiple ordinal stage setting. The performance of all the methods is studied and compared based on an extensive simulation study. A real data set on Alzheimer's disease is analyzed.
