In this talk, we present a case study of a Bayesian adaptive dose-finding phase 2 non-inferiority trial design using go/no-go criteria and adaptive randomization. More specifically, we compare adaptive treatment allocation based on posterior probability of each active dose response rate being within -0.1 of control response rate to several fixed randomization ratios, and demonstrate that Bayesian adaptive randomization designs yield better performance and may allow for more efficient trials.
