Title: Signal Detection in Brain fMRI Using Global Bayes Factor for Rotation-Space Random Field

Abstract:

Shafie et al. developed a Global Bayes factor to detect signals existing within noisy images when both signal and noise considered as elements of an infinite dimensional Hilbert space. The purpose of this paper is to use their notion of Global Bayes factor in signal detection when the image is modeled as a rotation space random field. We apply the MCMC method to find the Global Bayes factor in a real fMRI data from Montreal Neurological Institute.
