Abstract

The Statistics Without Borders (SWB) has grown substantially over the past decade, since its inception in 2008. This rapid growth has enabled SWB to take on more projects, which has led the Executive Committee to re-examine its organizational structure, policies, processes, and procedures to address the growing pain.

This talk will present the SWB's experience in the organizational transformation, affectionately known as "SWB 2.0"-from where SWB was three years ago, to where SWB is going, what processes we have accomplished to date, and what remains to be accomplished to transform the SWB into an effective and sustainable organization. In addition, learnings along the way and reaction to this learning process will be discussed.
