Abstract #324813
Title: Endpoints Options and Considerations for Selection
Author(s): Laura Lee Johnson*
Companies: USFDA
Keywords: clinical outcome assessment (COA) ; patient reported outcome (PRO) ; multiple endpoints
Abstract:

Selecting endpoints is not always straight forward as there are numerous ways that endpoint hierarchies and endpoint definitions can be specified. We will specifically focus on clinical outcome assessments (COAs) such as patient reported outcomes (PROs) and different approaches to specifying types of endpoints including multiple endpoints. Discussion will include differences between assessment and measurement, instrument and endpoint, plus a few analytic approaches for setting up endpoint definitions, study deign considerations, and impacts on interpretability.
