Abstract:

In the analysis of contingency tables when sampled and target populations are not identical, the resulting estimates of cell probabilities lead to the relative loss of information due to a biased sampling. In the absence of the target population information, a proper prior distribution can be considered as describing the initial knowledge of target population. In this paper we present the Bayesian Approach to measure the missing information of estimates, thus the estimating methods are compared.
