Abstract:

The DIA adaptive design scientific working group (ADSWG) have previously conducted and published results from surveys of the perception and use of adaptive designs (ADs) for clinical development programs in the industry and academia in 2008 and 2011. In 2016 the ADSWG repeated that survey. In previous surveys barriers to adaptive designs were identified and recommendations were made as to how to approach these barriers. A previous presentation at JSM 2012 compared and contrasted the results from the previous surveys. In this presentation, the results of the 2016 survey will be presented and, compared and contrasted with the previous one. Quinlan J. et al.
