Abstract:

Federal funding agencies and journals have launched reproducible research efforts in recent years in response to broad concerns about the reliability of science published in journals and funded by the U.S. Government. Statisticians have had a prominent voice in reproducible research and are recognized by both agencies and journals as being important to improving the reliability and robustness of science. This session will feature two of the senior voices from NIH and representatives of two high-impact journals as speakers, and a member of Science magazine's Statistical Board of Reviewing Editors as discussant.
