Abstract

Presentation Skills Workshop at JSM A panel of experienced and award-winning presenters will share advice about speaking at JSM. Topics will include the following:  Engaging the audience  Effective practice techniques  Organizing your talk  Visual aids  Answering audience questions  Speaking in a language other than your native tongue

All presenters are welcome, though first-time speakers at JSM are especially encouraged to attend. Also, anyone who is considering a future JSM presentation, or just wants to hear more about the art of scientific speaking, is welcome.
