Abstract:

There are a number of clinical trial issues that appear simple, but are not always simple in practice. For example, does it matter whether an objective is considered primary, secondary, or exploratory? Or whether the allocation ratio is 1:1, i.e., the same number of participants are allocated to each treatment? Clinical trial design, with a focus on practical issues and the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches, will be discussed.
