Time-to-event data may be analyzed based on cumulative information up to a specific time point or residual information beyond that time point. In this talk, recent development in parametric and nonparametric inference on quantile residual life will be reviewed and discussed. Especially some new results from the methods for lost lifespan analysis will be presented with some simulation results and a real data example.
