Abstract:
|
Conditional power and predictive power provide estimates of the probability of success at the end of the trial based on the information from the interim analysis. The observed value of the time to event endpoint could be biased for the true treatment effect due to early censoring at the interim analysis. We use correlated auxiliary variables which are more fully observed to enhance the estimates and inference for the time to event endpoint which is right censored. Simulation studies and a real world example show the effectiveness and accuracy of the new enhanced approach.
