Abstract:

While numerous systems and polls exist for ranking and rating NCAA Men's Division I Basketball teams, there currently exists only one poll (NAIA Coach's Top 25) and only one rating system (Massey Ratings) for NAIA Division I Men's Basketball. This project will use data from the 2009-2010 through 2013-2014 seasons to develop a rating system. The rating system will be compared to the Coach's Top 25, Massey Ratings, and the Men's DI National Championship Tournament for each season. Additionally, the system will be applied to the current season to predict the outcomes of the National Championship Tournament.
