Abstract:
|
We present a spatial-temporal point process models for the lightning occurrence data on the globe. The proposed model takes advantage of flexible spatial-temporal covariance models for geostatistical processes on a global scale. Computational methods for dealing with large point process data will be explored. The effect of climate change on lightning intensity will be discussed.
