Title: Adjust for Subsequent Therapies in Overall Survival Analyses

Abstract:

Due to the increased amount of effective oncology drugs, the overall survival (OS) is much longer and OS comparisons between treatment and control arms could be diluted by crossover or subsequent therapies. Many methods are available including naive methods (e.g., ITT, excluding switchers, censor switchers, time-varying covariate) and some complex and bias-reduced methods (e.g., IPE: Iterative parameter estimation; IPCW: Inverse Probability of Censoring Weighted). In Oncology therapeutic area, we face this issue for almost all compounds. In this talk, we will compare these methods in real data example.
