Abstract

Bayesian approaches have become more practical and important in the medical product development process. Currently, multiple software and languages are available for Bayesian analyses that make the Bayesian computation much easier and more practical for different types of projects in clinical trials and other areas. Statisticians can share their experiences and the challenges they have faced in Bayesian projects, including prior elicitations, enrollment predictions, study success simulations, and other related topics. Questions to be covered include (1) What types of Bayesian projects have you worked on in your organization? What are the challenges and lessons learned? (2) What software or packages are used, and what is your opinion on the usage? Do you implement tools? (3) Do you have an internal consulting group or external consulting group to help your projects?
