Abstract:

Regression with functional responses is characterized by functional high-dimensional parameters. The estimation using nonparametric inference methods is based on thresholded projection estimators. Confidence bands for the dependence function are constructed using adaptive dimension reduction methods. Empirical results from simulations and applications convey favorable results in implementations.
