Title: A Robust Time Series Classification Method for Vibration-Based Damage Detection
Author(s): Lei Jin*+
Companies: Texas A&M
Keywords: periodogram ; time series classfication ; damage detection ; heavy tailed ; robust
Abstract:

In the paper, a robust procedure for the time series classification is proposed, based on a set of estimating equations. A simulation study is conducted to examine the performance under various complex situations. In addition, the method is applied to a vibrational data for mechanical damage detection.
