Abstract:
|
Significant savings in sample size may be achieved by performing a Bayesian meta analysis, however this is not always the case. This poster illustrates several case studies in which Bayesian meta analysis was used. In some cases the sample size was able to be reduced by a significant number of subjects. In other cases, despite abundant prior data, no sample size savings was realized. A discussion of these cases and the aspects that affected the sample size is undertaken.
