Abstract:
|
Drug resistance to targeted therapies is a serious concern in cancer-treatment.Multi-type branching process models and related birth and death process are typically used for modeling the evolution of drug resistance. Statistical estimation of various parameters asscoaited with evolving drug resistance is challenging due to paucity of data and differential behavior of the cancer process across different regimens. In this presentation, we present a generalized method of moments based approach to estimation and study the related asymptotics.
