Abstract:
|
Cancer is a highly complex and heterogeneous disease that is hard to treat. Next generation sequencing (NGS)-based technology has the potential to provide comprehensive genomics information on short turnaround time that can lead to better patient selection and ultimately personalized treatment decision. However, many unique practical and analytical issues need to be considered carefully when adapting NGS-based genomics data into oncology clinical trials. In this presentation we will share the experience and lessons learned, which can be used to better design future NGS-based clinical trials.
