Abstract:
|
Under the case-cohort design, a subcohort is randomly selected from the entire cohort. The covariate information are assembled only for the selected subcohort and any additional cases outside the subcohort. In this paper, the semiparametric mean residual life models are studied for analyzing failure time data from the case-cohort design. Weighted estimating equations are proposed to estimate the regression parameters. The resulting estimators are shown to be consistent and asymptotically normal. Some simulation studies and a medical real data example are provided to illustrate our estimating procedures.
