Abstract:
|
Contingent Phylogenetic Information is available when collecting NGS 16sRNA reads that provide the basis for many Microbiome studies. This information can be used at several stages of the analyses: denoising, normalization and computation of distances as well as for diversity estimation. I will show how we can effectively capitalize on phylogenetic information for classifying and testing for differential abundance in these type of data.
