Abstract:
|
This paper examines the nexus of population characteristics and composition, effectiveness of governance (six indices of governance), and economic growth (GDP at PPP) in Asia. The analysis uses data from the World Bank data base. The analysis has been carried using econometric models specially structure equations. The results display some indicative relation between population characteristics and effectiveness of governance, and in turn economic growth.
