Abstract:
|
Advances in molecular therapeutics have opened up new possibilities for treating cancer patients with personalized therapies, using biomarkers to determine which treatments are most likely to benefit which patients. On the other hand, they also pose challenges in designing clinical trials for the development and validation of these therapies. In this talk we will give an overview of the challenges in adaptive population selection for cancer trials and illustrate a few recently proposed group sequential designs to address these challenges.
