With the arise of real time search based in social topics (twitter), we studied the possible influence of topics discussions in exchange rates for the period of July to October 2013. Results based in this kind of modeling can be applied in marketing mix modeling. We will exhibit a basic Exploratory Data Analysis of the data but also a few models fitting different hypothesis tested in the data.
