Abstract:
|
The International Tobacco Control project (http://www.itcproject.org/) conducts longitudinal surveys to monitor Tobacco use in some 20 countries worldwide. In Africa, face-to-face surveys are conducted in Zambia, Kenya and Mauritius. In a fourth country, Nigeria, the survey did not proceed past the planning stages due to an unexpected event. I will discuss practical challenges encountered with sampling in these four African countries.
