Abstract:
|
The LISA 2020 program educates and trains statisticians from developing countries to effectively communicate and collaborate with nonstatisticians to unlock their research potential. The program will create a network of 20 statistical collaboration laboratories in developing countries by 2020 through education, training, exchanges of personnel, and ongoing mentoring support on statistical topics for the statisticians running the newly created stat labs. Members of the LISA 2020 mentoring network will support these statisticians by providing guidance on statistical problems in their areas of expertise. Come to this roundtable to learn more about this program and how you can contribute to it.
