Abstract:
|
Time to event analysis is frequently used in several industries and it usually involve a single outcome of interest. A popular example of this is time to death. On the other hand, there are instances where the outcome of interest could happen repeatedly which is commonly known as time to recurrent event. Analysis methods and software packages have been developed for this type of data. In particular, SAS was used in this paper to demonstrate how to analyze this type of data. Structure of the data and some SAS procedures (proc phreg and proc reliability) were discussed.
